The Concept
Not a wedding.
Not a tour.
Something far more personal.
An elopement is the choice to celebrate your love quietly — just the two of you, in a place that takes your breath away. No audience. No pressure. Only the story you'll tell for the rest of your lives.
We bring that feeling to Japan. You wear the kimono. We bring the landscape — cliff edges, highland fields, ancient shrines — all in Fukui, a prefecture that few tourists find, and even fewer forget.
The result: photographs and a 5-minute cinematic video that look like nothing else in your Instagram feed.
Why Fukui
Japan's Hidden Side.
No Crowds. No Compromise.
Kyoto and Kanazawa are beautiful — and increasingly crowded. Fukui gives you what they can't anymore: solitude, raw landscape, and a photo that's actually yours. Picture Eiheiji's ancient cedar-lined halls, or the thatched-roof farmhouses of Osagoe — a side of Japan most travelers never see.
Untouched Nature
From the sea cliffs of Tojinbo to the highland meadows of Rokuroshi, Fukui's landscapes are dramatic and almost entirely free of tourist crowds — exactly what elopement photography is about.
The Rarest Kimono Collection
Our warehouse holds over 500 pieces, including 200+ traditional robes no longer in production. Garments that exist nowhere else — worn only for you.
Access from Kyoto & Kanazawa
Fukui is 30 minutes from Kanazawa and under 2 hours from Kyoto by Shinkansen. Easy to add to your Japan itinerary — or make it the destination itself.
Rain-proof Studio Backup
Our indoor wedding studio — the first of its kind in Fukui — offers 10+ distinct scene sets. If the weather turns, your shoot doesn't stop.
Everything Handled for You
English-speaking coordination, dressing, hair & makeup, private driver, photographer, and drone operator. You arrive as guests; we handle everything else.
"Hidden Japan" Is the Story
Overseas couples have already found us. One couple flew in from New York because "a small town in Fukui means no tourists in our shots." That's exactly right.

★★★★★
"Wearing traditional kimono let us experience a deeper side of Japan. We were looking for an elopement wedding in Japan and found Fukui — there are so few people here that we could have exactly the shoot we imagined. It has a charm you simply cannot capture in Kyoto or Kanazawa."
